NORTH PROVIDENCE, RI

Louise G. Christiansen, 88, of North Providence, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence surrounded by the love of her family.   She was the wife of the late George Christiansen.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Phyllis (Fabiano) Castello.  She resided in Providence for the past 19 years, previously residing in North Providence and Central Falls.

Mrs. Christiansen was employed at Jostens Inc. in Attleboro for many years.

Louise enjoyed reading, especially Nora Roberts novels, but most of all loved spending time with her family.

She leaves her sons, Keith Christiansen of Cumberland  and Bruce Christiansen of North Providence; her nine grandchildren, Danielle Parsons, Brian Beaudoin, Erik Christiansen, Brandon Christiansen, Jamie Cronshaw, Brianna Christiansen, Devin Desjardins, Reagan Rebello, and Alex Rebello; her five great-grandchildren, her sister, Phyllis Delgado of Providence, her brothers, Thomas Castello of North Providence and Phillip Castello of North Carolina; as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was the mother of the late Carol Beaudoin and Kristin Cronshaw and sister of the late Anthony Castello and John Castello.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Louise's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Friday, April 18, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  Her funeral will be private.
