Cumberland,
Lorraine E. Mooney, 98, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, in Greenville Center, Greenville. She was the wife of the late Francis T. Mooney.

Her kitchen was a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness, and her legacy will live on in the flavors and memories she shared so generously.
She is survived by her two sons: Robert T. Mooney of Cumberland, and David M. Mooney and his wife Debra of Lincoln. Her two grand-daughters: Laura Moreau and husband Eric , Valerie Armstrong and husband Ken. Also, four great-grandchildren, Reese and Riley Moreau, Hunter and Grey Armstrong; along with several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Glenn R. Mooney and sister of the late Al Hamanne; and great-grandmother of the late Paige Moreau.
