Lisa B.
Carvalho
Sep 6, 1979 — Apr 16, 2026
Cumberland
Lisa Carvalho, 46, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2026, in Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence. She was the loving wife of Paul Machado.
Born in Attleboro, MA, she was the daughter of Michael Carvalho and Kerry Moreau. Lisa resided in Cumberland for the past 10 years, previously living in North Attleboro.
Lisa found her greatest joy in life's simple, meaningful moments—especially those spent with the people and animals she loved most. She cherished her time at the dog park, where she gathered with a close-knit circle of friends who quickly became like family. Her love for animals ran deep, beginning with her first dog, Charlie, who held a special place in her heart and whom she will now be reunited with. Lisa also loved the Narragansett beaches, where she created lasting memories with the kids, and she found happiness in the easy, laughter-filled moments—long conversations, shared stories, and time spent surrounded by family and friends. She had a deep love for the outdoors, often finding peace in camping trips, fishing, and any opportunity to be outside, embraced by nature.
Above all else, Lisa's world revolved around her children. She was their biggest fan, rarely missing a moment to cheer on Troy on the soccer field or watch Jolee shine on the volleyball court. Every interest, every hobby, and every ounce of her energy was poured into creating memories with them.
Lisa had a magnetic personality—warm, vibrant, and deeply social. She loved people, connected easily, and made others feel seen, welcomed, and valued wherever she went. Her presence brought people together, and her spirit will continue to live on in the countless lives she touched.
Lisa built a remarkable and dynamic career defined by passion, resilience, and an extraordinary ability to connect with others. She rose to become a top-performing banking executive, earning a reputation for excellence not only through her results, but through the way she led. A true leader in every sense, Lisa inspired and developed high-performing teams, setting a standard of excellence through her vision, integrity, and unwavering belief in people.
In time, Lisa made a seamless transition into real estate, where she once again rose quickly to the top, becoming a highly successful and respected producer. It was a natural extension of her strengths—her warmth, drive, and exceptional ability to build genuine, lasting relationships. She approached every client with integrity and care, earning trust and delivering results, all while creating a career that allowed her to center her life around her children. Lisa didn't just succeed professionally—she built a life of purpose, alignment, and meaningful impact, leaving behind a legacy of excellence in everything she touched.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Paul Machado, her children Jolee Farquharson and Troy Therrian,
her sisters, Jillian Back and her family, Garrett and Lexi Back of Halifax, MA, Kelly Erskine and her family Kent, Quinn, Harlowe and Aero Erskine of Florida,
and her brother, Ryan Moreau, and his wife Amy Moreau also of Florida, along with her stepmother and stepsister Bernadette and Tessa Carvalho, respectively of Attleboro, MA
