CUMBERLAND

Linda A. Guay, 75, of Cumberland passed away on Saturday July 13th at Hope Health, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael F. Guay and they had been married for 27 years.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary DeRosa Kay. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

She was employed as an Inspector for Texas Instruments for over 43 years, retiring in 2014 & also she was an employed at Sally's Beauty Supply for over 25 years, retiring in 2018.

Linda enjoyed crocheting, she loved to go camping with her family in past years, and she was an avid reader. Those who loved her will remember her kind heart, big smile, her love for dogs Maggie, the late Toby and Heidi and great big personality.

In addition to her husband, she leaves her son, Michael Proulx and his wife Jillian Powers of Cumberland; her grandson, Nelson Proulx; her brothers, Charles Kay and his wife Anne of Myrtle Beach, SC, James (Gator) Kay of Seekonk, MA and John Kay and his wife Lynn of Attleboro, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Donald Kay.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Linda's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, July 17th from 4 to 7 pm and continue on Thursday, July 18th a graveside service will be held at 11 AM at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Curran Road, Cumberland.
