CUMBERLAND

Linda Dixon (Vito), 75, of Cumberland passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family. She is the wife of William M. Dixon and they had been married for the past 47 years.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Randolph Vito of Pawtucket and the late Florence (Cote) Vito. She was the stepdaughter of Roseanne Vito.

Mrs. Dixon was employed as a Supervisor for the Clayton Company in Providence for over 20 years, until her retirement.

Linda enjoyed boating, cooking, and spending time with her family. Those who love her will remember the love she shared for her family, her attention to the care of her home, but most of all will remember her affection for shopping.

She leaves her two daughters, Brenda Delpivo and her husband John of North Providence and Tracey Dunbar and her fiancé Stephen Moro of Richmond; her son Brian Dubar and his wife Sandra of East Providence; her three grandchildren, Corinne DiGiulio, Mason Delpivo and Dante Delpivo; her great grandson Hayden DiGiulio, her sister, Debra Cote (late William Cote) of Pawtucket; her brother Randolph Vito of Pawtucket; her step-sister, Annamarie Vito of Johnston and her brother Darren Vito of Florida; as well as a niece and a nephew.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Linda's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, from 9 AM to 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow in the St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket.
