CUMBERLAND

Lillian  McDermott, 101, of Cumberland passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at the Mt. St. Rita Health Centre in Cumberland.  She was the wife of the late John J. McDermott

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late James and Madeline (Bailey) Horridge.  She resided in both Lincoln and Cumberland during her lifetime.

She dedicated her life to the care and concerns of her family.

Lillian was a volunteer for the Lincoln Senior Center.

She leaves her children, Joseph McDermott of Pawtucket, Barbara Ditano and her husband Leonard of Cumberland, Patricia Ramage of Cumberland, Dolores Boudreau and her husband Eugene of Florida, James McDermott of Florida and Kathy Ring of Lincoln; her 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  She was the mother of the late John McDermott and sister of the late Hazel Lamarre-Demers and Dolores Ruckert.

Her funeral will be private.
