Mr. Poirier was a member of St. Aidan/St. Patrick Parish in Cumberland. He also enjoyed swimming in the ocean and his pool, clambakes in the backyard, traveling internationally and took great pride in maintaining his yard, which became a reflection of his care and attention to detail. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus, as well as a volunteer on the Ashton Rescue, and Ashton Fire Tax Collector.
He is survived by his children, Suzanne LaLiberte and her husband Kenneth of Cumberland, Monique Eaton and her husband Kip of Barrington, and Mark Poirier and his wife Sandy of Seekonk; his seven grandchildren, Kip, Kara Ann, Alyse, Klark, Phillip, Jacob, and Corinne; and his three great-grandchildren, Callum, Olivia and Skylar.
