We celebrate the life of Katarzyna Daz, a devoted daughter, loving sister, adoring aunt, wonderful partner, obsessed dog mom, and incredible friend, lighting up every room she entered with her radiant smile and infectious personality. Katarzyna entered the gates of heaven surrounded by loved ones and at peace October 16, 2026.

Katarzyna cherished her family above all else. She took time out of each day to have a quiet chat or find any excuse to be with her mother Anna. Her father Czeslaw often shared advice and wisdom that was met with rapt attention while their conversations often ended in boisterous laughter. When she made a surprise visit to her brother, Rafal, and sister-in-law’s, Nicole, home she was always greeted with cheers of delight from her cherished nephew and niece, Roman and Penelope. After every family gathering, she left with an indelible smile she would wear for days.

Even outside of her family, anyone lucky to call Katarzyna a friend was met with the same enthusiasm. Be it a concert, shows, dinner or night out, if there was an invite, she was there. Maybe a little late but always looking like just stepped off the katwalk. Everyone knew once Katarzyna showed up, the life of the party had arrived. If there was any mention of her German Shepherd, Ace, all were subjected to a prepared lecture and slideshow of why he was the best dog in all of existence.

In her personal life, the love that Katarzyna and her partner Mike shared was undeniable. Their home was filled with joy, laughter, warmth, bad jokes and dogs. Through every hardship their saving grace was the love and support they constantly showed each other.

For someone so young, Katarzyna touched an incredible amount of lives, leaving a path of kindness and happiness in her wake. She will be dearly missed by all.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Katarzyna's Life Celebration to be held with visitation on Sunday October 25, 2026 from 4 to 7 PM, in the J.J.Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Rt. 122, Cumberland. Her funeral will continue on Monday October 26, 2026 at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
