Judy (Ballard) Dell, after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer's, Judy passed away on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the age of 73. She grew up in Coventry, Rhode Island, and was the daughter of the late Maurice and Rita (Fecteau) Ballard. She was also one of 11 siblings.

Judy is survived by her children, Roxanne Dell of Lincoln, RI and Jason Dell of Pascoag, RI.  She was the proud grandmother of Samantha.

Judy was also a beloved auntie to 18 nieces and nephews and was affectionately known as Mom or Gramma Judy to many others.

In her retirement, Judy stayed busy with craft projects and Saturday trips to Joann Fabrics. Many family members and friends were fortunate to receive one-of-a-kind quilt or handmade creation from her.

Judy was an avid Bingo player and a champion card shark. She will also be remembered as a fierce Uno competitor by everyone who accepted the challenge.

Her children wish to thank family, friends and caregivers who helped support Judy as she navigated through the past few years, fighting each day.

A private celebration honoring Judy will be held on a later date.
