Judith A. Richardson, age 80, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving children on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

Born in Pawtucket, RI, Judith was the daughter of the late Florence G. (Simpson) Tetreault and the late Salvatore DeCesare. Her father Salvatore passed when Judith was in infancy and she was lovingly raised by her mother Florence and stepfather, the late Henry Tetreault.

For many years, Judith called Cumberland home. Judith dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a Registered Nurse at Oakland Grove Nursing Center, RI Hospital's Oncology Unit, Grandview Center, Orchard View, and the former Cartie's Health Center. Her compassionate and skilled care brought comfort and healing to countless patients over the years.

Judith's legacy is carried on by her children, each a testament to her love and nurturing spirit. She was the mother of the late Deborah L. Richardson.   She is survived by her son David P. Richardson of Lincoln, daughter Pamela J. Richardson of Albion, and daughter Cynthia L. Ruel and her husband Kevin J. Ruel of Cumberland; She was also the loving grandmother of Jay Richardson of Nampa, Idaho, Micheal Richardson of Lincoln, Hannah Ruel, and Henry Ruel both of Cumberland.  She is also survived by her sister, Donna Frazier and her nephew, Nicholas Tetreault both of Wrentham, MA.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Judith was a woman of many talents and passions. She found solace and fulfillment in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Judith's love extended beyond the realms of healthcare, as she poured her creativity into quilting, sewing, and various arts and crafts projects. Her hands brought forth not only healing but also beauty.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Judith's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, from 4 PM to 6 PM. Burial will be private.
