Judith A.
Bergeron
Jan 9, 1967 — Jun 4, 2026
North Attleboro
NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA
Judith A. "Judy" (Bacon) Bergeron, 59, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 4, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the devoted wife of Paul R. Bergeron, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.
Born in Normal, Illinois, she was the daughter of Raymond H. Bacon and Simone L. (Bousquet) Bacon of Woonsocket. Judy was a proud 1985 graduate of Woonsocket High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, cum laude, from Bryant College in 1990, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy in 1997, where she was honored as a member of the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society.
Judy's career as a pharmacist spanned several decades across Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She lent her expertise to CVS, Target, and Landmark Hospital, and spent the last ten years serving the community at the Miriam Hospital outpatient pharmacy. She was a dedicated and knowledgeable pharmacist, but her greatest calling and joy was always caring for her family and home.
Judy will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, quick wit, and contagious laugh. She was an avid decorator, cook, and baker who found great happiness in making her house a warm and welcoming home. She had a compassionate heart, especially for her beloved rescue dogs, Sally, Dusty, and Phoebe, who were lucky to find a place in her life.
Above all, Judy's daughter, Elizabeth "Ellie" J. Bergeron, was her world. She took great pride in her friendships, many of which stretched back to grammar school. Whether shopping, walking, or meeting "the girls" for breakfast, Judy loved being surrounded by people. She was a natural entertainer who delighted in bringing her many circles of friends together for laughter, connection, and lasting memories.
In addition to her husband, daughter, and parents, Judy is survived by her siblings, Maureen Abbate, John Bacon, and Leslie Dolan. She also leaves behind many dear nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Judith's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Monday, June 8, 2026, from 4 to 8 PM and continue on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 12 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations in Judy's name can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
