Joseph Fontaine, 80, passed away on Friday, July 1, 2022 in the Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. He was the beloved husband of the late Cecile R. (Fogiato) Fontaine.

Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Francis and Helen (Baron) Fontaine. Joseph resided in Pascoag for the past 5 years, previously residing in Lincoln for 13 years and Pawtucket for many years.

Joe was a car enthusiast and would frequent local car shows, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was employed as a truck driver for MCD Trucking for many years until his retirement. He previously was the owner of JCB Leasing for many years and also worked for Cumberland Farms.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara-Ann C. Karpinski of Pascoag. His four grandsons, Joseph, Joshua, Jeffrey Fontaine and Jake Karpinski, also four great grandsons, Jace, Jeffrey, Benjamin and Maxwell Fontaine along with several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
