Joe loved going to the beach (especially Mystic, CT), driving through the woods, playing video games, listening to the Beatles and heavy metal music.

Joseph H. Dailey 58, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026, with his loving family by his side. He was the loving husband of Christine (Maiden Name) Dailey, they had been married for 8 years prior to his passing.

Joe worked for years in customer service at the Providence Journal newspaper, tuition management system and then moved to customer service and call center support at CVS. He spent 8 very happy years with his devoted wife Chris, his cherished daughter Katie and their two beloved dogs Teddy and Bella.

Joe loved going to the beach (especially Mystic, CT), driving through the woods, playing video games, listening to the Beatles and heavy metal music and watching movies (especially Lord of the Rings and Star Wars) and spending time with his lifelong friend Brien. Joe had a great sense of humor which he managed to keep throughout his illness, still making people laugh. Joe will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will live forever in their hearts.

Daughter Katie L. Ramsey, sisters Susan Fish and her husband James, Kathy Tracy, and Ann Fitman and her husband Neil, also survived by his nephews John Tracy, Ryan Fish, Matthew Fish, Michael Fitman, and Joseph Fitman.

Joe's Life Celebration will begin on Tuesday September 29, 2026 with Visitation from 4 to7 PM and continue on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
