CUMBERLAND

Sequeira, Jose M., 89, formerly of Cumberland, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Ermelinda (Timotea) Sequeira.

Born in Lisbon, he moved to this country in 1973, setting in Cumberland where he resided for most of his life.

Mr. Sequeira was formerly Employed by American Insulated Wire for over 25 years until his retirement.

He was also a member of the Portuguese Social Club in Pawtucket for many years.

He leaves daughter, Fernanda Ferreira and her husband Joao of Cumberland; his two granddaughters, Jessica Lelovois and her husband Christopher of Cumberland, and Vanessa Ferreira of Pawtucket; his great-grandchildren, Julius, Skilah, and Isabella.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
