José "Joe" Rebocho passed peacefully on March 21, 2026, and went home to be reunited with his beloved wife, Rosa.

Joe was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a caring brother, and a man whose presence left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was known for his quiet strength, his generosity, and the many layers of his personality—much like the garden he lovingly tended. An avid gardener, Joe found joy and peace in watching things grow, nurturing both plants and people with the same patience and care.

He is survived by his brothers, Herman Rebocho (Debbie) of Conway, South Carolina, and Roger Rebocho of Cumberland, Rhode Island; his children, John Rebocho (Melissa) of Massachusetts, David Rebocho of Rhode Island, and Jennifer Rebocho of Conway, South Carolina; and his cherished grandchildren, Natalie Rebocho, Aaron Rebocho, and Logan Rebocho, who brought him endless pride and happiness.

Though Joe will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is once again with Rosa and his parents, watching over those he loved so dearly.
