CUMBERLAND

Joanne M. Hornsby, 62, formerly of Cumberland, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Trinity Health and Rehab in Woonsocket.   She was the wife of the late Robert Hornsby.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Theodore and Shirley (Vose)  Sylvester.  She resided in Cumberland for most of her life.

Joanne enjoyed arts and crafts, word searches and puzzles.  Those who love her remember how she enjoyed dancing, and her contagious sense of humor.

She leaves her sister, Judith Machado of Cumberland and Jay Sylvester of Attleboro; as well as her three nephews. John Viveiros, Christopher Sylvester and Andrew Sylvester, her niece, Jenn Machado; and her great nephew  Jackson Viveiros.  She was the brother of the  late James Sylvester.

Her funeral services will be private.
