Jeannette F. St.Pierre, 97, formerly of South Attleboro and Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Holiday Retirement Home, Manville. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. St. Pierre.
Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Clara (Demers) Benoit. She resided in South Attleboro, MA for most of her life, previously in Pawtucket and Cumberland.
Mrs. St. Pierre was employed as an Expediter for the former Wells Benrus Jewelry Company and A & Z Hayward Incorporated for many years, until her retirement in 1992. In retirement she worked at AJ Wright as a retail clerk.
Jeannette was a communicant of the St. Joan of Arc Church, Cumberland. She volunteered her time at Slater Park Carousel at the ticket and concession stands and was an active member of the resident's association at Chimney Hill Apartments.
She leaves her children, Ronald St. Pierre of North Fort Myers, FL, Gale Perron of North Attleboro, Paula Brierley of Seekonk, MA, and Sharon Beech of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren Mark Brierley, Kevin St. Pierre, Shanna Brierley, Matthew St. Pierre, Brendon Beech and Marissa Dehart; her great-grandchildren, Alexander St. Pierre, Nola St. Pierre, Evan Trask, Savanah Dehart and Summer Dehart; her brother, Hector Benoit of South Attleboro; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Henry Benoit Jr and Alfred Benoit.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Jeannette's Life Celebration to be held with a visitation on Friday, May 10, 2024 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in the St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Attleboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 31805, The Holiday Retirement Home, Activities Fund, 30 Sayles Hill Road, Manville, RI 02838 or to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914.
