CUMBERLAND

Jeannette V. (Beauregard) Chenevert, 100, of Cumberland, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Stillwater Place Assisted Living Center, Greenville.   She was the devoted wife of 71 years Omer Chenevert.

Born in Woonsocket, RI, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Blanche (LeFort) Beauregard.  She resided in Cumberland for 20 years, also residing in Lincoln, Newberryport, MA, and West Palm Beach, FL.

Mrs. Chenevert was employed as a Bookkeeper for the family run business, P and C Quality Screw Products in Smithfield for many years.

Jeannette enjoyed sewing, gardening, playing tennis, reading, but most of all spending time with her family.  Those who love her will always remember outgoing personality, and the love she carried for her family especially her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by one son David Chenevert and his wife Claire of Cumberland; her grandson Michael Chenevert and his wife Kristin of Cumberland, her grandaughter Laura Chenevert and her fiance Alan Kennedy of Manhattan, NY; her two great grandchildren Paxton and Kasen and several nieces and nephews.  She was the sister of the late Florence Smith, Stella Rush, Rachel Cote, Normand Beauregard, Leo Beauregard, and Muriel Santos.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Jeannette's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2023 from 4 to 7 PM  and continue on SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2023 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM at St. John Vianney Church, Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland.   Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to a charity of your choice.
