Obituary

WARWICK

DESROSIERS, Jeane P. (Cicerchia), 81, of Cumberland, formerly of Warwick and Providence, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Rene Desrosiers.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Michaelangelo and Margaret (Geremia) Cicerchia. She resided in Cumberland for the past six years with her daughters, previously residing in Warwick for many years. During her childhood, she was cared for by the late Sister Esther Dalessio of Bayonne, NJ.

Mrs. Desrosiers was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the State of Rhode Island, DCYF, Department of Education, and DEM for over 30 years until her retirement.

Jeane enjoyed cooking, seafood, trips to the beach, and also enjoyed traveling to Europe, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. Her voice could always be heard singing Italian music, especially Che la Luna, and songs by Engelbert Humperdink. With a charitable spirit, Jeane donated frequently St. Jude Children's Hospital and various veteran associations. Those who love her will always remember her affection for "The Godfather" and Musicals, especially "The Sound of Music", but most of all the generosity and love she had for others.

She leaves her two daughters, Robyn A. Federici and Rebecca J. Federici and her husband Jay Fawcett Jr., both of Cumberland; her son Joseph E. Federici Jr. and his wife Debra Almgren of Warwick; her six grandchildren, Jessica Federici, Nicole DiMeo, Michaela Doyle, Tina Federici, Michaelangelo Federici, Kylie Federici-Fawcett; her nine great-grandchildren; Ariana Federici, Skyla Federici, Gianna Sousa, Timothy Campbell III, Angelo DiMeo, Caleb Guilmett, Anthony Negri, Raiden Hunold, and Everly Federici; her sister Marguerite Cicerchia of North Providence; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. She was the sister of the late Norma Mastroianni.

Her funeral will be private.

Memorial donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.
