Janet Duffy, 59, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2023, in Oakland Grove Health Center, Woonsocket.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of Thomas and Estelle (Bernier) Duffy. Janet resided in Cumberland for the past 17 years, previously residing in Central Falls.

Janet was an incredible mother who never gave up on herself or her son Chris. She was a woman who loved deeply, enjoyed her rock and roll, and watching her favorite shows while snuggled up with a cat. She was resilient, a fighter with a zest for life. All she ever dreamed of was pushing her son to be the best version of himself. The mother who loved regardless of the circumstances. She will never be forgotten and will forever be in our hearts.

She is survived by her son: Christopher Duffy of Providence. Her sister; Connie Dymek of Central Falls, and her brother David Duffy of Utah. Her boyfriend Scott Mercer of Cumberland and her longtime friend; Kelly Grimley of Pawtucket. She was the sister of the late Thomas Duffy.

Services are private and to be held at the convenience of the family.
