Ivy S. Broadman, 77, of Cumberland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Hope Health in Providence, surrounded by her loving family and extended family.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Nathan and Shirley (Bromberg) Broadman. Ivy had made her home in Cumberland for the past 15 years, having previously resided in Johnston and Cranston.

Ivy was known for her kind heart and her gift for listening — a true confidante to many. She cherished nature, adventure, and exploring new places. A talented cook, she found great joy in bringing people together and feeding "the masses." She was also a devoted animal lover, and leaves her beloved grand dogs, PJ, Lucy and great-grand dog Luffy.

She is survived by her children, Tammy Stone of Cumberland; Kelly Britton and her wife, Lorie; and Wendy Gongoleski and her husband, James, of Millville, MA. She also leaves her beloved grandson, Christopher Gongoleski, and his wife, Erin, of Smithfield; her sister, Frances Leahy, and her husband, John, of Warwick; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Rosalie Mele and Jerry Broadman.

In accordance with Ivy's wishes, there will be no formal services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
