Central Falls

Irene M.Gray 82, passed away Monday June 23, 2025.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late William and Mildred (Taylor) Salisbury.  She resided in Cumberland and Lincoln most of her life and then retiring in Central Falls.

Irene was a graduate of Cumberland High School, Class of 1962.

She was employed as a Packer for Hindley Manufacturing for 17 years before retiring.

Irene was a private person who enjoyed dancing and doing puzzles. She looked forward to walking the track with her childhood friend Maggie, and spending quiet time with her dear friend and neighbor, Maria.

She leaves her son, Christopher T. Gray and his wife Georgia of Lincoln;  her grandchildren, Giovanni Gray and Ashley Foster,Homer and Katerina Lafond, Patrick Gray, Dustin Mollett and Delaney Mollett; her great-grandchildren, Adeline, Parker and Keirra.  She was the mother of the late Seth Gray and Grandmother of the late Joshua Gray. She was the sister of the late Jackie Vasconcellos, Shirley Dupre, Kathy Jackson, Margie King and Charles Salisbury.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Irene's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Friday June 27, 2025 from 1 PM  to 3 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 3 PM   Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105
