Blackstone, MA

Hoi Loc, 55, of Blackstone, MA, passed away on Wednesday,  September 10, 2025 at Landmark Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.   He was the husband of Phouvieng (Panyavong) Loc, and father of Abagail Loc  and Nathan Loc both of Blackstone.

Born in Laos, he was the son of Pathouma (Chanthinith) Loc of Connecticut and the late Merritt Loc.   He moved to this country in 1976, first settling in New York and later moving to Connecticut, and later moving to Rhode Island.

In addition to his wife children and mother, he leaves  his siblings, Chinthana Stolze and Takki Loc, both of Connecticut; as well as several nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.

Hoi enjoyed fishing, barbecuing, but most of all loved spending time with his family and friends.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Visitation on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt.122, Cumberland.   A traditional Buddhist service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 from 8 AM to 11 AM with cremation to follow.  A gathering and collation will follow at the family residence at 80 Champlain Avenue, Blackstone, MA.
