She leaves her children, Jan Majkut of South Attleboro, Bernarda Siwiec and her husband Mariusz of North Attleboro, Pawel Majkut of Central Falls.

Helena M. (Solek) Majkut, 76, of Central Falls, passed away on Monday, September 14, 2026 after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer, at home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was the wife of the late Jan Malolepszy and the late Eugeniusz Majkut.

Born in Grodzisko Gorne, Poland, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Maria (Szklanny) Solek. She moved to this country in 1994, settling in Central Falls where she resided for most of her life.

Mrs. Majkut was employed by the Elizabeth Webbing Company and the K & W Webbing Company for many years until her retirement.

Helena was a communicant of the St. Joseph Church, High Street, Central Falls. She enjoyed cooking, baking, tending to her flower garden, but most of all spending time with her beloved family.

She leaves her children, Jan Majkut of South Attleboro, Bernarda Siwiec and her husband Mariusz of North Attleboro, Pawel Majkut of Central Falls; her siblings, Anna Klin of Poland, Stanislaw Solek of Poland, and Jozef Solek of South Attleboro; her grandchildren, Katarzyna Dunstan of England, Magdalena Siwiec of Bellingham, MA, David Siwiec of New York, Adam Szklanny of Poland, and Dzesika Kuras of Poland; her great-grandchildren, Vanessa, Otis, Zuzanna, Lucja, and Aleksander; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Irena Szklanny.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Helena's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Friday, September 18, 2026 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in the St. Joseph's Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, RI. Burial will take place in Poland at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Joseph Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, RI 02863.
