LINCOLN
Helen B. (Pasela) Labossiere, 95, of Lincoln, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025 at the Heritage Hills Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alfred J. Labossiere Sr. with whom she shared over 65 years of marriage.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Jan and Aniela "Nellie" (Solek) Pasela. She resided in Lincoln for over 55 years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Mrs. Labossiere was employed as Bookkeeper for the former RI Hospital Trust Bank for several years.
Helen was a communicant of the St. Josephs Church, High Street, Central Falls. She was a member of the church choir and the Women's Holy Rosary Society. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren's activities, rain or shine.
She leaves children, Barbara Labossiere of Pawtucket, Alfred Labossiere Jr. and his wife Susan of Smithfield, Joanne Labossiere of Lincoln, Joyce Labossiere of Lincoln, Michael Labossiere and his wife Susan of Lincoln, and Mary Ann McCoart and her husband Joseph of Lincoln; her ten grandchildren, Christopher, Wayde, Kyle, Heath, Joshua, Seth, McKenzie, Matthew, Nathan and Alyssa; her thirteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley Pasela, Mary Pasela, Joseph Pasela, Elizabeth Kleva, Anna Pasela, Pauline Fundakowski, Veronica Orzechowski, Julian Pasela, Frank Pasela, Antoni Pasela and Stasia Skowron.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Helen's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Thursday, October 23, 2025 from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Friday, October 24, 2025 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in the St. Josephs Church, High Street, Central Falls. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Josephs Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, RI 02863 or to Harmony Hospice, 931 Jefferson Blvd STE 3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
