Helen P. (Ruel) Doucet, aged 83, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at The Friendly Home in Woonsocket. She was the beloved wife of Ronald C. Doucet, with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Fall River, MA, Helen was the daughter of the late Joseph and Corana (Richards) Ruel. She spent the last nine years residing in Pawtucket, having previously lived in Central Falls and Campton, NH.

Helen dedicated her professional life to working as a legal assistant and real estate assistant. Her unwavering faith in God was a cornerstone of her life, and for 25 years, she was a cherished member of the Woodlawn Baptist Church choir in Pawtucket. Her spiritual devotion was evident in all she did, serving as a guiding light to those around her.

Helen found joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly the daily walks she shared with her beloved husband through the serene paths of Slater Park. These walks were a testament to the deep love and companionship they treasured.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald, her four children: Linda Cruz and her husband Juan of Woonsocket, Christine M. Doucet of North Attleboro, MA, Katherine B. Doucet of Blackstone, MA, and Armand J. Doucet and his wife Michelle of Smithfield. She also leaves behind her sister, Louise Massey of Cumberland, ten grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Helen was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Ruel.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Helen's life with a visitation on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2 to 4 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:30 PM. Burial will be private.
