Gloria F. (Cardarelli) Rita 76, passed away on November 2, 2026. She was the wife of the late George B. Rita, they had been married for 42 years prior to his passing in 2025. Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Lester and Irene (Jarest) Cardarelli.

Gloria worked in the Human Resource Department for Osram /Sylvania for 36 years prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed playing Bingo, spending time at the beach, gardening in the yard. She loved listening to Hall & Oates. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially with her grandchildren. She was a big lover of animals, feeding the birds and other animals.

Gloria is survived by her beloved children, Robert Beaudry, and Robin Irving and her husband Scott, and her four grandchildren, Thomas Beaudry, Deklan Irving, Julianna Beaudry, and Dawson Beaudry. She is also survived by her siblings, Linda Provencher, Sam Cardarelli, Ray Cardarelli, Peggy Cardarelli, and John Cardarelli as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Robert Cardarelli.

Gloria will be sadly missed by all those that knew her.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Gloria's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Thursday November 5, 2026 from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Friday, November 6, 2026 at 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.
