Gloria A Parent, 61 of Lincoln, passed away peacefully, Friday, July 15th, 2022 in the comfort of her home.

Gloria was born on December 8th, 1960 in Pawtucket. Daughter of Gloria M Parent (Lembo) and the late Alfred P Parent. Gloria is survived by her two daughters, Ariana V Trainor (Parent) and her husband Corey of Jupiter, FL and Kelsey N Bertoncini (Parent) and her husband John of Cumberland, her brother Joseph P Parent and his wife Marilyn of South Kingstown, her brother in law Brian S Sullivan of Coventry and her nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her late siblings Victoria Parent, Alfred M Parent, Cynthia A Sullivan, Edward C Parent, and also step-sister of the late Angelina Sylvestre. After graduating from hairdressing school, Gloria pursued a vast career as a beauty stylist and colorist. Through her years as a hairdresser, she worked at several well-known salons across Rhode Island.

Following retirement, Gloria spent the majority of her time in South County. She lived for many years in Narragansett, where she would spend days walking or relaxing on the beach enjoying the ocean breeze.

An animal enthusiast, she had several cats and dogs throughout her life, however, spent her recent years with her cherished dog Roxy. She could always be found with Roxy by her side and treasured her dedicated companionship. Above all else, her greatest happiness came from spending time with those she so deeply loved. She valued occasions conversing with her family during gatherings and holidays and cultivated a deep lifelong connection with her mother Gloria (Senior).

Although she will be profoundly missed, her family takes solace in the fact that she was welcomed and embraced, in heaven, by her adoring father and her dear late siblings.

A private service will be held, for immediate family only. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI.
