CUMBERLAND

McManus, Gloria L., 94, formerly of Cumberland passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at home.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rose (Michaud) Lescault. She resided in Harrisville for the past 12 years, previously residing on River Street in the Valley Falls section of Cumberland.

Mrs. McManus was employed as a Home Health Aide for the Visiting Nurse Association of Rhode Island for many years until her retirement.

Gloria enjoyed the winter, especially the snow. Her family fondly remembers her affection for snowmen, and all were presented a gift in their yards from time to time. She was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, her daily walks, but most of all she loved spending time with her large family.

She is survived by five children. She also was predeceased by one son. She had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Gloria's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 8 AM to 10 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 10 AM. Burial will follow at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
