Gale McKie, 68, of Gainesville, FL, passed away at RI Hospital on Wednesday, 5/20/26.

She was the beloved daughter of Ruth McKie and sister of Lori (McKie)DeGregorio.

A longtime resident of Florida, Gale enjoyed the Sunshine State and worked with Kraft Motor Car Co. and Wild Birds Unlimited during her years in FL.

During her last 6 months in RI, Gale was able to share memories with her family — Lori & Bob, Audrey & Gerry, Cadence Cuozzo and Zenith DeGregorio.

The family gives thanks to the compassionate and dedicated Hematology Oncology Doctors, Nurses, & Staff of The Brown University Health Cancer Center and RI Hospital, along with the caring support of Hope Health Hospice.

Gale's final resting place will be with family in the Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown, RI.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home.
