Francisco Freches, 99 passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Maria De Jesus (Fernandes) Freches.

Born in Sobral da Serra Guarda, Portugal, he was the son of the late Anacleto and Ana De Jesus Freches. Francisco came to this country in 1959, settling in Cumberland.

He loved gardening and being in the yard, growing his own produce, but most of all he enjoyed being with his family.

Francisco was employed by American Insulated Wire for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by his two children; Ana Neves and her husband Raymond of Lincoln and Adriano Freches and his wife Donna of Central Falls. His brother Arture Freches of Brazil. Five grandchildren; Steven Freches; David Rebocho; John Rebocho; Jennifer Rebocho, and Katie Neves. His six great-grandchildren; Hannah and Hunter Freches; Declan DonDero; Logan and Aaron Rebocho; and Natalie Rebocho. Two great-great-grandchildren; Sonny and Carter, along with many nieces and nephews in the United States and over seas. He was the father of the late Rosa Rebocho and brother of the late; Abilio Freches, Joao Freches, Ortencia Domingos, Maria Gomes.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Francisco's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Monday, June 6, 2022 from 4 PM to 7 PM and continuing on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 1 Fatima Drive Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
