Francis A. Thomas Jr., 77, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of the late Virginia (Paquin) Thomas.

Born in Greenville, SC., he was the son of the late Francis A. Thomas Sr., and Jeanne (Bessette) Thomas. He was a lifelong resident of Pawtucket.

He was a US Army Veteran.

Frank was an avid bowler, golfer, and fisherman. He loved spending time with his family.

He was a graduate of St. Raphael Academy class of 1962 and Providence College class of 1966, earning his B.A. in Economics.

Frank is a member, past officer and Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, South Attleboro. He was a past chairman of the Pawtucket Fireworks Committee, a former member, past officer and president of the Blackstone Valley Independent Insurance Agents. He was also a former member of the RI State Police FOP.

He was an insurance agent for more than 40 years, and formerly the owner of Sharples & Thomas Insurance Agency, Pawtucket.

He is survived by his two daughters; Karen A. Vincent of Cranston and Lori Thomas and her husband Carlos Rocha of Pawtucket. His seven grandchildren; Cortney Vincent, Emily Labbe, Nathan Labbe, Alycia Hill, Taylor Vincent, Dylan McKenna and Sofia Vincent. His nine great-grandchildren; Lilly, Caleb, Kayden, Daemien, Kenzi, Jr. B, Carter, Daela, and Philip. He was the father of the late Kimberly McKenna.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Frank's Life Celebration to being with Visiting Hours on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 5 PM to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.
