CUMBERLAND

Frances Marie Jachem, 86, of Cumberland, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Steere House.

She was the wife of the late Joseph Jachem, who passed away in 2023. Born in Roxton Falls, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Gerard Pariseau and Yvonne (Depot) Pariseau.

Frances was a graduate of St. Jean Baptiste Academy, Class of 1958, where she served as class president. She worked as an Inventory Control Associate for Hope Global at the Cumberland Division for 25 years.
Frances enjoyed gardening and had a special love for cats, beagles and all animals. She was a volunteer for the Cumberland Senior Center tending the gardens with her sister Florence.

She leaves her son, Paul J. Jachem of Cumberland; her sister, Florence Berthiaume of Cumberland; and her brothers, Paul Pariseau of East Providence and Germain "Jimmy" Pariseau of Central Falls.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Frances' Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Thursday August 20, 2026, at 4-6 PM and continue on Friday August 21, 2026, at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in St. Aidan Church, 1460 Diamond Hill Road, Cumberland at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Pawtucket.
