Frances M "Fran" Gallella, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17,2022, at Mt St Rita's Health Center surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife of the late James T Gallella.

Daughter of the late Thomas H. and Mary (Mae) Geddes Malloy, she lived in Cumberland most of her
life. Fran graduated from Rhode Island College and helped run the family business, TH Malloy Oil
Company for over thirty-five years.

She was an avid golfer and member of the Dennis Highlands GC, where she and Jim enjoyed weekend trips to their home in Dennis on Cape Cod.

Loving mother to Beth-Anne McIntyre and her husband Michael of Cumberland and Corey E Axelson and
her husband Dan of Cohasset, MA. Sister to William Malloy of Cumberland. Always "Gram" to Casey
Rainha, Jamey Petrucci, Dylanne Nugent, Mackenzie Axelson and Danny Axelson, three great granddaughters along with several nieces and nephews. She was the beloved mother of the late Jay Gallella and sister to the late Anne Mansi and Thomas Malloy.

Fran's Life Celebration will be on Saturday, January 14, 2022, beginning with Visiting Hours from 9 AM to 10:30 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, 1303 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fran's memory to Mt. St. Rita Health Center 15 Sumner Brown Road Cumberland, RI 02864, or St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Memorial Giving, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
