Evelyn "Pat" (Carney) Faucher, 92, a longtime resident of Cumberland, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at the St. Antoine Residence in North Smithfield, RI.

She was the daughter of the late John Carney and the late Evelyn (Warcup) Carney. She was married for 49 years to the late Lester Faucher.

Pat was employed for 35 years as a purchasing agent for the former Ann & Hope in Cumberland. She was a communicant of the former St. Patrick Church in Cumberland. Pat cared deeply for her family, and her most cherished role was being "Gram" for her three grandchildren, Michael Marchetti of Cumberland, Marissa Marchetti of Florida, and Courtney Faucher of North Smithfield.

She is survived by her three children: Patricia DesJardins and her husband Rick, Marianne Lariviere and her husband Ron, and Thomas Faucher and his longtime partner Judy Flaherty, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sister Jane Manahan and her husband Jim of Ashaway, RI.  She was the sister of the late: John F. Carney Jr., Grayce Sanger, and Margaret Hottle.

Pat's Life Celebration will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland, RI.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
