Ellen M. Tridento, aged 79, passed away on December 18, 2024, at the Mount St. Rita Health Center in Cumberland, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. Tridento (Ret. PFD). Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Helen (Carroll) Rogers. Ellen resided in Cumberland for the past year, having previously lived in Johnston, Rhode Island.

Ellen was a dedicated art teacher at St. Augustine's School, where she taught for 34 years until her retirement. She was a devoted communicant of St. Augustine Church in Providence.

She is survived by her son, John C. 'Jay' Tridento of Vero Beach, Florida; her daughters, Caroline M. Marcello and her husband Joseph of Burrillville, and Barbara-Jean Taylor and her husband Eddie Rosa of Vero Beach, Florida. She also leaves behind her sister, Carol Bergeron of South Kingstown, her three grandchildren, Kayla, Krissy, and John Patrick, and her great-granddaughter, Aaliyah, along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on June 15, 2025, at 11:30 at St. Augustine's Church. Burial will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland, RI.
