CUMBERLAND

Elaine C. George, 79, of Cumberland passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at Hope Health in Providence.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Josephine (Gouveia) George. She resided in Central Falls for the past fifteen years, previously residing in Cumberland.

Mrs. George was employed as a retail worker or the for Ann and Hope Store in Cumberland for many years.

Elaine enjoyed playing BINGO, working on crafts, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves her children, Warren Burt of Wyoming, Tammy Ridge and her husband Mathew of Cumberland, James Packer Jr. of Cumberland, and Jamie Schillinger of Cumberland; her sister, Christine Morris of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Chaise Schillinger, Zachary Schillinger, Lily Rainville, Violet Rainville, and Eric "EJ" Rainville Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews.   She was the sister of the late Louis George, Tony George, Beatrice Machado, and William "Billy" George.

In accordance with Elaine's wishes, funeral services will be private.
