CUMBERLAND

MITCHELL, Edward "Eddie" R., 64, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away on Thursday August 25, 2022 at the Respiratory and Rehabilitation Center of Rhode Island.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Carlotta (Ramirez) Mitchell. He resided in Woonsocket for most of his life.

Mr. Mitchell was a self-employed handyman, retired due to illness. He had a gift to work on cars, construction and most anything that needed attention.

Eddie, as he was affectionately known, was a talented cook, enjoyed spending time with his cats as well as his beloved friends and family.

He leaves his daughter, Heather Beauregard; his siblings, Maria Hereth, Darling Olivastro and Albert Mitchell; his sister-in-law Kathy Mitchell; his five grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his girlfriend, Monica Hoefer. He was the brother of the late Deborah Fox.

His funeral service will be private.
