Ederlindo Tavares, 53, of Central Falls passed away on Thursday, Nocember 2, 2023 at the Rhode Island Hospital Providence.   He was the husband of Kimberly J. (Stevens) Tavares and they had been married for the past three years.

Born in Cape Verde, Portugal, he moved to this country in the late 80's, settling in Boston and then later Central Falls.

Mr. Tavares served in the Military during his time in Cape Verde.

Ederlindo was a talented musician and  he had a gift of writing music and playing the keyboard, as well as many other instruments.  He enjoyed playing soccer.

In addition to his wife, he leaves, two sons, Anderson Tavares of Cape Verde, and Elton Tavares of Portugal; two daughters, Velma Cohen and her husband Arthur of Central Falls and Jennifer Reece of Central Falls; his beloved grandchildren, Jaxson-Dylyn, Makenzie, Emma, Camden, Kaylie, James, and Rebecca; his sisters and brothers; as well as several nieces and nephews.
