CUMBERLAND

Dominick Richard "Red" LaBella, 90, of Cumberland, passed away on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family at The Miriam Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Ada M. (Carbonneau) LaBella, and they shared 63 years of marriage together.

Born in Butler, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Margaret (Savannah) LaBella. He resided in Cumberland for most of his life.

Following high school, Dominick entered the United States Navy, serving his country honorably and faithfully.

Mr. LaBella was an accountant and was also the owner of Morrison Typewriter in Providence.

Dominick enjoyed the simple things in life, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, he leaves his children, Debbie LaBella of Colorado, Susan Martins of Florida, and James LaBella and his wife, Melissa Ann, of Arizona; his grandchildren, Brett, Justin, Garrett, Dominick, Bruno, Jack, and Jake; and his great-grandson, Julian.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Dominick's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 5 to 8 PM and continue on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.O. Box 22470, New York, NY 10087-2470.
