Obituary

Dolores H. Carbonetti formally of Pawtucket and Lincoln passed into eternal rest on Thursday January 9, 2025 at Evergreen Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Providence.

Born on September 20, 1934 in Lodi, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Luke and Sarah (Benanti) Carbonetti. She was raised and attended schools in Rutherfordton, North Carolina and went on to study nursing in New York.

She received a degree in Nursing from Misericordia School of Nursing at Misericordia Hospital in the Bronx, New York City.

Following her nursing career, Dolores obtained her license and sold real estate until her retirement.

She was a parishioner of St. Leo the Great church, now St. John Paul II Parish in Pawtucket and was a faithful daily mass attendee. Dolores was a member of Legion of Mary and Society of St. Vincent de Paul at the parish.

She is survived by two nephews Edward (Bo) Turvey of Fernandina Beach FL and Stephen Turvey and his wife Lori of Fort Pierce FL. Dolores was predeceased by her 4 sisters Rita Lundbeck, Camille Godfrey, Marie Torrence and Geraldine Turvey.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 18 at 11:00am at St John Paul II Parish, St. Cecilia Church, 755 Central Ave. Pawtucket, RI. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Conference of St. John Paul II 755 Central Ave. Pawtucket.

Arrangements are entrusted to The JJ Duffy Funeral Home.
