Obituary

Cumberland,

Dolores M. Audette, 85, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the Roger Williams Medical Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Harold W. Audette.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah (Medeiros) Lemos. Dolores was a lifelong Cumberland resident.

Dolores was a talented baker who spent years creating beautiful wedding cakes and running her own business. While her passion for baking brought joy to many, her greatest love was her family. She cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always making family gatherings special. Weekly dinners were a treasured tradition, filled with laughter, love, and the warmth she brought to every moment. She will be fondly remembered for her dedication, creativity, and the joy she shared with those she loved most. In her later years Dolores and her late husband Harry wintered in Venice, FL., where they made many new friends.

She was a cook and supervisor for the Cumberland School Department for many years until her transition to a job for the State of RI, Department of Health.

She is survived by her children: Mark H. Audette and his wife Lori-Ann of Cumberland; Robin Boyle and her husband Mark of Cumberland; and Beth Espinoza and her husband Steven of La Jolla, CA. Her six grandchildren: Nathan Audette, Ryan Audette, Chelsea Maziarz, Marley Dutcher, Sarah Espinoza an Abigail Espinoza, eleven great-grandchildren: Zion, Zavier, Zakai, Jamison, Jaxson, Quinn, Ellie, Graham, Wes, Mac, and Lilly, along with several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late John Lemos.

The family wishes to extend many thanks and acknowledgement to the staff of the Lighthouse at Lincoln for the exceptional care provided to their mother over the past two years.
