Diana E. Szczepanek, aged 36, formerly of North Attleboro, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of Stanislaw Szczepanek of Pawtucket and Katarzyna (Barszczowska) Szczepanek of North Attleboro. Diana spent many years residing in North Attleboro, having previously lived in Seekonk, MA.

A graduate of North Attleboro High School, Diana pursued a career in the hospitality industry. She was known for her love of reading and, above all, cherished spending time with her family and friends. Her loving and social nature endeared her to nearly everyone she met.

Diana is survived by her fiancé, Geoffrey Metfooney of Seekonk, MA, and their two children, Geoffrey George Metfooney and Genaeva Metfooney. She also leaves behind her siblings, Joanna Szczepanek of Seekonk, MA, Jolanta Gould of North Attleboro, MA, Adriana Argencourt of Warwick, Darek Szczepanek of North Attleboro, and Damian Szczepanek of North Attleboro. Her paternal grandmother, Kazimiera Szczepanek of Poland, her aunt, Magdalena DeSousa of Johnston, along with three nephews, four nieces, many cousins, and beloved family and friends, also mourn her passing.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Diana's life, beginning with visitation on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 11 AM at St. Joseph Church, 391 High Street, Central Falls, with burial at Mt. St. Mary Cemetery, Pawtucket.
