JOHNSTON

WILLIAMS, Dennis J., 82, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Patricia A. (Boudreau) Williams and they had been married for the past 33 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Henry A. and Lorraine (DelaFeuilliez) Williams. He resided in Johnston for most of his life.

He was a United States Army veteran.

Mr. Williams was employed as a truck driver until his retirement.

Dennis enjoyed watching sports, fishing, playing poker and riding his Harley Davidson. He was a dedicated and passionate New York Yankees fan. Those who love him will always remember his sweet and compassionate personality and his willingness to always lend a helping hand.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Brian Williams of Charlestown, Eric Williams and his wife Melissa of Riverside, Lisa Williams of Pawtucket; his siblings, Hank E. Williams of Chepachet, and Beverly A. Williams of Johnston; his brother in law, John Boudreau and his wife Joan of Cumberland, and his sister-in-law, Denise Cardoso of Cumberland and Rosemarie Melito and the late Mickey Melito of Attleboro; as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews He was the father of the late Dennis J. Williams Jr. and Derek Williams.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Dennis's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Monday July 25, 2022 from 9 AM to 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service and military honors will follow at 11 AM.
