Deborah Renee Aiken, 75, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Landmark Medical Center.

Born in Harlem, New York in 1950, Debbie was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Holestine (Oliver) Aiken. She grew up in New York City and spent the past ten years living in North Smithfield, after many years in Woonsocket, where she built a life rooted in love, resilience, and family.

Debbie was a proud entrepreneur who owned and operated Ideal Concepts Silk Screening and Graphics LLC until her retirement. Her determination, high work ethic and creativity helped her develop a career building fixtures and components for electronics both at TTI Testron Inc. and Tyco International.

A woman of positive energy and a welcoming spirit, Debbie embraced life through activity and connection. During her life, Debbie was a bowler, and played racquetball, tennis, and softball. As a teenager and young woman, she was a great handball player—a true testament to her competitive drive and athleticism.

She also had a deep love for music and dancing. Whether it was the rhythm of a good song, dancing" The Hustle" or listening to her favorite artists, Debbie found joy in movement and melody.

Debbie always brought the good vibes, great humor and a hearty laugh to any occasion. She lived authentically, provided great advice and inspired those around her to be their best self.

Above all, Debbie loved her family. She leaves behind her children, Anthony Ray Sr. of Providence and Andrea V. Ray of Pawtucket. She was a proud grandmother to Anthony Ray Jr., Joseph Ray, Jada Barber, Janice Ray, and Brooklyn Ray, and a devoted great-grandmother to Aiden Robinson and Alaia Robinson.

She is also survived by her sister, Holestine Aiken; her sisters-in-law, Addie Oliver and Marsha Aiken; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends—who will remember her with love. Debbie was predeceased by her brothers, Alonzo Oliver, Thomas Aiken Jr., Alexander Aiken, and Robert Aiken.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Debbie's Life Celebration to be held with visitation on May 9, 2026, from 11 AM to 1 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland, followed by a repast.
