David W. Tomlinson, 76, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Judy K. (Bibby) Tomlinson. They have been married for the past 54 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Jeannette (Sabourin) Tomlinson. Dave was a lifelong resident of Lincoln.

A man of many passions and pursuits, he found joy both on the road and in the skies. As a proud member of the Rhode Island Corvette Club, the Wallum Lake Rod & Gun Club, and the Lincoln Country Club, he cherished the camaraderie and friendships built through shared interests. An avid golfer, he spent countless hours perfecting his swing and enjoying the game he loved. His adventurous spirit extended beyond the fairways—he earned his instrument-rated pilot's license, embracing the freedom and challenge of flight. Yet, among all his accomplishments, his greatest happiness came from the simple tradition of annual family vacations on Block Island, where memories were made and treasured for generations.

He was employed as a sales manager for Bruske Products, Chicago for more than 25 years until his retirement.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son: Matthew D. Tomlinson and his wife Deborah of North Providence. His three grandchildren: Timothy Tomlinson, Andrew Tomlinson, and Emily Tomlinson. His daughter-in-law Katie Tomlinson of Cumberland, his sister Carol Baker of Georgia, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also the father of the late Christopher Tomlinson.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Dave's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM followed by a Prayer Service at 11 AM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38108.
