LINCOLN

Daniel G.  "Doc" Gingras, 72, of Lincoln, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at home. He was the beloved husband of Tish "Patricia" (Crawley) Gingras, and they had been married for the past 50 years.

Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Richard and Janet (LaRose) Gingras. He resided in Lincoln for most of his life.

Dan was employed as a welder and painter for Electric Boat for 20 years, retiring in 2022.

Affectionately known as "Doc," he was a passionate Lincoln Little League baseball coach for over 40 years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, but most of all, spending time with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He was a dedicated Boston Red Sox, Celtics, and New England Patriots fan.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his children, Heather Comtois and her husband Jason of Danielson, CT, Josh Gingras and his wife Andrea of Lincoln; his brother, Richard Gingras of Cumberland, and his sister, Holly Susi of Jamestown; his five grandchildren, Abigail, Christopher, and Nathan Comtois and Regan and Maren Gingras; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Daniel's Life Celebration to be held with Visiting Hours on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM and continue on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 9 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM at St. Jude Church, Front Street, Lincoln. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery, Pawtucket.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Lincoln Little League, 422 River Road, Lincoln, RI 02865, and in the memo, please write "DOC."
