CUMBERLAND

Cole R. Russo, 17, of Cumberland passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at home surrounded by the love of his family.  He was the son of Shannan Beverly and Andrew Babikian.

Born in Warwick, he was a life-long resident of Cumberland.

He attended the Cumberland High School, Class of 2026 graduate.

Cole enjoyed listening to music, watching his favorite shows, Backyardigans, Little Einsteins, and Spongebob.   He loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, he leaves his sister, Caroline Russo of Cumberland; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Joyce Sateikis of Cumberland; his paternal grandparents, Bill and Janice Babikian of Cumberland; his uncles, Brenton Beverly, Bryan Beverly and his wife Nicole, Aaron Babikian and his wife Ashley and Adam Babikian, all of Cumberland; and his cousin Ava Beverly, Aurora Babikian, Austin Babikian and Callaway Babikian, all of Cumberland.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Cole's Life Celebration to be held with Visitation on Saturday, May 2, 2026 from 10 AM to 12 NOON in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 12 NOON.

At the request of the family, guests are asked to wear colorful clothing in a special way to honor Cole's remarkable life.
