Littlewood, Claire of Cumberland, RI, Stoughton,MA, and Northport, NY, passsed away peacefully on October 13, 2024 in St. Antoine's Residence in North Smithfield, Rhode Island.

Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Philip; her three daughters and their spouses, Amy Frasco (Dan) of Belmont, MA, Renee Elsinger (Andrew) of Plattsburgh, NY, and Heather Larkin (Ken) of Huntington, NY, and her beloved grandchildren, Ruby, Memo, Eli and Beatrix.

Born and raised in Belmont, MA by her parents, Claire was the eldest of 6 children; her husband Philip is also from Belmont, MA. She was predeceased by her parents, Muriel (Sullivan) and Arthur McGinty, and has surviving siblings, Peter (Michele), Joan, Tony (Sara), Steve (Rebecca) and Chris (Maryann). She will be greatly missed by her brother in-law Walter (Robin), and sisters in-law Mary (Ed) and Kathy (Bill, Sr.), many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her sisters in-law Roberta (Littlewood) Miscall and Joanne Thomas.

Claire's greatest joys in life were: cooking for and feeding others, reading and discussing books, gardening in her amazing garden, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Claire's Life Celebration to begin with Visiting Hours on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 11 AM to 2 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.  A prayer service will be held at 1 PM.
