CUMBERLAND

DAY, Christine M. (Ray), 71, of Cumberland passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence. She was the wife of the late Kevin M. Day.

Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of Rose (Dubois) Ray of Cumberland and the late John Ray. She resided in Cumberland for most of her life, previously residing in Lincoln.

Mrs. Day worked as a waitress for many years at various restaurants that included the former Bickfords Restaurant at Seekonk.

Chris enjoyed going to concerts, being in the sun and swimming in her pool, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.

She leaves her three children, Michael Day and his wife Melissa, Marc Day and his wife Jill and John Day, all of Cumberland; her two grandchildren Kaiya Day and Aliyah Day; her nephew, Keith Ray and his wife Kaela; her sister-in-law, Ann Adams and her husband John of Delray Beach, FL; as well as several extended family and loved ones. She was the sister of the late Denise Marie Ray.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Christine's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 4 to 7 PM in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. A prayer service will be held at 6:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be made in her memory to the ALS Association - RI Chapter, 2374 Post Rd #103, Warwick, RI 02886.
